With the help of caring individuals all over Ohio and around the country donations poured in and saved the sport so loved by the people in this small town.

3/09- Margaret Hofmann speaks to students at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. Margaret helps sports administration students and future personal fitness trainers see the many opportunities that await them when they graduate from college. The students got the pleasure of seeing how she created and runs Female Athletes First.com.
4/18/09- FAF is the co-sponsor of the Denison University strength and conditioning clinic. One session that day is devoted to strength training of the female athlete. Margaret is close friends with this athlete's aunt and she found out about her year long struggle to regain the ability to run again. Margaret has spoken to this amazing young woman and has encouraged her to keep up the fight. We wish her all the best.
2/08- Margaret featured in IDEA Fitness Journal. Here is an excerpt from the member spotlight section in the journal. Margaret has been a member of IDEA since 1996. Margaret Hofmann-Nein, owner of Female Athletes First LLC, specializes in providing sports performance enhancement programs to female athletes. "It is a personal mission of mine to get the most up-to-date training practices, protocols, and health and wellness information to female athletes around the globe." While there is a great deal of solid information available, Hofmann-Nein finds that much of it has the potential to derail an athlete's success. "We want to educate the female athlete, her parents and her coaches about how and when to start a conditioning program for her sport," she says. "[We seek to] help the female athlete be all she can be in her chosen sport."
